What is Climate Impact Week?

  • Climate Impact Week runs from June 2nd to 8th – running across World Cycling Day (3rd), World Environment Day (5th) and World Oceans Day (8th) and launches in Liverpool for 2025.
  • CIW is a focal point and a platform to inspire everybody from world leaders, Mayors and CEOs to school children, small businesses and community groups to host their own events that interconnect and amplify each other’s conversations for one week.
  • CIW is built around the ethos of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals, and focuses on climate & nature but also all the other interconnections including economics, education, human rights.

Who?

  • Climate Impact Week a non-profit event and is facilitated by 2030hub, and aligns with the successful annual Global Goals Week campaigns each September.
  • 2030hub is one of only four UN Local2030 Coalition Hubs in the world that focus on SDG localisation through advocacy, action and monitoring, and is based in Liverpool. 2030hub are also a certified B Corp.
  • CIW is for everybody. It is one week where all stakeholders locally, regionally, nationally and internationally can engage and collaborate regardless of formal position, age or confidence. Our planet is our collective responsibility.

Climate Impact Week is about collective and collaborative action. Register your own event here to reach a wider audience or contact us if you need help turning an idea for an event or performance into reality.
