Echoes of Brazil Exhibition

June 2 @ 11:00 am - June 8 @ 3:00 pm
Free

Running from 28 May to 23 June why not visit Anne Wiziack’s Echoes of Brazil exhibition – a celebration of Brazil’s rich cultural and natural heritage, featuring a beautiful collection of works that explore themes of sustainability, diversity, and the significance of indigenous communities.

Additionally, the watercolour pieces are inspired by the legendary landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx, renowned for his discoveries of Brazilian flora. Complementing these works are striking acrylic paintings depicting indigenous people, Baianas, fauna and flora, and a powerful piece titled Brazilian Faces, which portrays the diverse ethnic roots of Brazil—indigenous, African, European, and Asian—and the rich fusion of cultures that define the nation.

More than an exhibition, Echoes of Brazil is designed as an immersive experience. Visitors will have the opportunity to scan QR codes to listen to the Brazilian music that inspired Anne’s creative process, offering a deeper connection to the artwork.

In a significant gesture of support, a portion of the profits from the exhibition will be donated to Bolsa Oro, which promotes sustainability through a reverse logistics system to transform plastic waste into valuable materials and generate economic opportunities in local regions in Brazil. And to the Instituto Socioambiental, an organisation dedicated to defending the environment, the rights of indigenous peoples, quilombolas, ribeirinhos and traditional communities in Brazil.
